Welcome to the most comprehensive calendar of events in North Texas. Beyond Able is excited to bring you the DFW Ability Calendar. We have gathered information available to the public and put it in one single calendar so that it is easier to find. We believe access to information is important in advancing inclusion. The calendar includes adaptive sports, respite care, performing arts workshops, and a great variety of adapted activities to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities of all ages and their families. DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, NUMEROUS EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED OR RESCHEDULED. WE ARE CONSTANTLY UPDATING THE CALENDAR AS WE RECEIVE INFORMATION FROM EVENT ORGANIZERS.
DFW Ability Calendar is great! You can search by dates, location, keywords, age range, type of event, etc. New events will be added each week. Each event has a link that goes back to the original source of the information. Are you the individual or organization hosting the event? Make sure you keep us updated of any changes. Search Tip: Don’t miss out events! If an event has a tag such as “Autism” or “Down Syndrome”, etc. it means that the activity is specific to individuals with that diagnosis. If an event does not have a ‘diagnosis/disability type’ tag, then it is open to people with various disabilities or we forgot to put the tag. Always go to the original link posted in each event to get the most detailed information.
